<p>Does anyone know the closest buses or trains that I can use to get to Charlotte/Concord/Kannopolis from UNC?</p>

<p>In Madison, we had the "badger bus" which made the trip back and forth to Milwaukee all the time. Is there something like this at Chapel Hill? What cities might someone living in Chapel Hill want to go to frequently (inside and outside of the research triangle)?</p>
<p>the only bus system local is the chapel hill and triangle transit.
dont' think that charlotte is included.
there are tons of students who are from the charlotte area.
so....transportation is as close as a listing on the ride share.</p>
<p>Otherwise, greyhound may pick up in hillsborough and durham.</p>
<p>I know my d's boyfriend is flying into Charlotte and taking Amtrak to Raleigh. Not sure where all the stations are, but that might be an option.</p>
