Transportation to NYC?

I'm thinking of applying as a transfer, but I won't have a car, and I was wondering what kind of transportation there is to NYC (necessary for when I go home for a visit!). Thanks!

When we visiting in the fall, we were told there is bus service to NYC very close to campus. Perhaps a current student (or parent) can tell us how that works?

My DD’s college has special bus service to NYC for the various breaks. Wondering if Lehigh has that too.

There’s a bus stop very close to campus that sends buses to various big cities like Philadelphia and NYC. I haven’t used it myself but it’s how a ton of people get home, and I’ve heard it’s really easy to use and pretty inexpensive.

The bus stop is about 3 blocks from campus, and is relatively cheap to use. A round trip to NYC is ~$60 and you can use the tickets any time before they expire. (So if you buy a set of round trip tickets today, and they expire in a month, you can use the tickets whenever you want within that month.)

…or if you go to Hellertown you can get the Bieber Bus to NYC. Takes you to Port Authority bus terminal. It runs about $40 max for RT ticket.
