i'm from philly. what is the best way to get to and from colgate? i looked up amtrack and greyhound, but the closest stations seem to be in utica, which is still kind of far from colgate...and could get expensive. any suggestions?

i live in Long Island,,, even i find it difficult to get to colgate -_-
help me too

vxdavidxv- go on Facebook and see who else is on Long Island that you can ride up with. There are SOOOOO many people from down there (I can count them all with my fingers and toes!).

jh1021- Until you find people who have cars on campus to pick you up and to drop you off, the best bet is just to take a cab from Utica to Colgate. But I also believe that you can get on the bus from there too directly to Colgate (I think it's a Chinatown bus from NYC).

There is a bus that stops at Colgate in front of the student union. Work your way to NYC (via train, bus, whatever) and you can pick up the bus there. Alumni clubs also organize buses several times during the year too.

The cab from Utica to Colgate is expensive. You have to pay for the cab to drive up to pick you up and also the drive back to Hamilton. For some reason, I think its $30 for each leg making it $60 for the trip.

I'm pretty sure the Short Line Bus company runs between Utica and Binghamton, twice a day. They actually stop right outside the Student Union. I think the website is shortline.com.

its coachusa.com

I believe you can bring your car to Colgate as a freshman...so driving is an option.
