I am required to get my recent transcripts for finaid purposes. However, one of my previous schools has a balance due and I cannot receive it. My finaid will not be processed without it. Is there way around this?
No,way around it. You need to pay your bill. The school will not release yoir transcript until you get that bill paid.

How were you accepted at your current school w/o transcripts? Or is your new school a CC?
Did you file a FAFSA, and if so, were you flagged due to unusual enrollment history (UEH)? If so, there is no way around it … you are required to submit transcripts for all schools attended. After receiving all transcripts, the school will review them to determine your eligibility to receive aid.
