does transferring colleges more than once look bad during grad school admissions or for jobs?
i pretty much hate the college that i'm at right now and i found one school (ranking about top 50) that accepts spring transfer students. if the next week or two doesnt get better, i think i will definitely consider applying there.
however, i was originally hoping to transfer to a top 20 school.
so, would it be okay if i transferred to that school for the spring and applied elsewhere for fall 2008? any thoughts?

i also forgot to ask, is it easier (socially, housing-wise, etc) to transfer in during the spring or fall semester, or is there really no difference?

just stay at your current school for a year and apply for fall 2008.

it wouldn't really make sense at all to go to two schools in one academic year, and possibly attend a third at the beginning of your second year.

If you are looking for a top 20 that accepts freshman transfers try WashU and possibly Rice

ive already called wash u and they said they do not accept spring transfers for freshmen
