<p>I would love to write and travel the world and take pics for a travel magazine. I love to travel and it would be a dream job. I also would love to work for arts journalism. I can see myself working for Variety, futoncritic, etc. I also love writing and may like to be a columnist or just a reporter. I even wrote a letter to Miep Gies (Holocaust helper to Anne Frank). I have an interest in that and Social Studies. I also am a film actor and have two agents and I don't know when that dream will happen. Acting has been my passion since I was 6. I'm also interested in dramatic writing. I would love writing and being in my own TV show. I even may want to do Tisch Asia for graduate school for dramatic writing. I liked Syracuse's Newhouse for a MA in arts journalism and USC's program. But I'm still in high school and an upcoming sophomore, so I have time. </p>

<p>I want to go to Simon's Rock after 10th grade and then transfer after 2 years. If that doesn't work out, I'll go back to the other way. I have a 3.2ish GPA and I'm in all honors and on AP course. I had a bad year in math (2 72's) and I have an 83 and 84 on transcript too. I think I can get it to a 3.4 GPA the time I go to Simon's Rock or a lot higher by senior year. Here are the schools I have been considering: </p>

<p>UGA, Marlboro, West Georgia, Flagler, Point Park, Purchase, IU- Bloomington, Mizzou, Sarah Lawrence, Bennington, Hampshire, Ithaca, American, Loyola Marymount, George Washington, Lehigh, Chapman, Susquehanna, Muhlenberg, College of Holy Cross, Villanova, NYU, USC, Kenyon, Newhouse, Marquette, Centre, Wesleyan, Bard, Lake Forest, Lewis and Clark, Evergreen State, Pepperdine, Georgetown, New College of Florida, Rollins, U Maryland- CP, UF, FSU Reed, Bowdoin, Northwestern, UNC- Chapel Hill, Yale, etc. There just some schools I'd be interested in, lol. I like NYU, USC, Northwestern, Yale and Sarah Lawrence the best. I'm sure it will change if I go to Simon's Rock.</p>

<p>What advice do you have for what I want to do? Any schools which are good for this? I think I may want to go to LA just because of my film acting career. I'd also like a school which has good fin. aid. I will also be willing to do acting BFA's too, but would like to audition for things outside of school. Thanks!</p>

<p>Wow, slow down! You’ve only just finished your freshman year. Pursue everything you’re interested in while you’re in high school and narrow down your options as you go. Just because you love something or are good at it doesn’t mean you have to make money off of it; most people have too many interests for that. There’s nothing wrong with having a hobby for yourself that you don’t use to make a profit.</p>

<p>Don’t start picking colleges just yet. It’s great that you’re looking into them, but since you have no idea what your grades, scores, or extra curriculars will be this early in high school, it’s not worth it to start picking places to apply to yet.</p>

<p>Also, people change a lot in high school. Don’t assume that what you do now is the same thing you’ll want to do after you graduate, or even when you’re getting ready to go to Simon’s Rock, if you decide to go there.</p>
