Point blank, if I can't pay for airfare, I can't go to Harvard :(
Does Harvard financial aid cover airfare for lower income families?

Yes, it does. In fact, you can probably pay for all the travel expenses with the money you earn in work study, the jobs that can be arranged through the university.

And if you have credit in your financial aid package, you can fly out home too. I have never had to pay put of pocket to fly home because of financial aid.

Can someone explain something to me? My parental and student contributions are 0. Estimated cost of travel is $3000+, and my package consists of a Harvard scholarship and a term-time job ($2500). How does one decide what to use that money earned from the term-time job for? I mean, do I get a ticket and does Harvard refund the price of the ticket? Or is the cost of transport to and from Harvard always taken from the term time job?

Sorry if that’s a bit confusing :P
