<p>They are based on financial need. If you applied for financial aid and got it, you're more likely to get a travel grant.</p>

<p>Nope, I'm from Colorado. I think they think I forgot to apply for finacial aid and assume that I probably qualify for a grant. I thought everyone got one, actually. But it seems not.</p>
