<p>Does baltimore have a train system that can go to the northeast, like if I want to visit friends at other colleges. I have never used one so give me a little break.</p>

<p>Yeh, there are trains that can take you to D.C. and Philly and from there to other places. I don't know if Baltimore has a nice metro system but amtrack can take you places.</p>

<p>Yes, you can pick-up Amtrack at Penn Station in Baltimore -- it is about 5-10 minutes from campus. Amtrack then can take you to all the major east coast cities. </p>

<p>There is also the MARC train in Baltimore that is easy for transportation to BWI airport, D.C., or Annapolis.</p>
