Travel & Leisure Magazine picks the most beautiful colleges in each state

Some really gorgeous photography here -

I’ve been to only four of them. Who has been to the most?

I think I’ve been to 15 of them (but I’m old as dirt). Some of those pictures are great, but others do not do the school justice. And some of the choices are just wrong, but what can you do?

I think I have been to 7 but not all official tours, some just a stop by when in the neighborhood. That photo of Berry College which I had never heard of is stunning, and Lewis & Clark also has a beautiful photo

Ole Miss, U of Alabama, Creighton, Iowa St, Oklahoma St, Utah St, U of Colorado, Augustana

Vanderbilt over Sewanee? No way.

^ And Rhodes?

Poor choice of photos on several. I agree that the United States Naval Academy is an amazing campus but the photo may be the worst view not of a parking lot. Bancroft Hall? The Chapel? Tecumseh in on game weekend in the Fall?

I haven’t been to the University of West Virginia but I’m sure it’s gorgeous in the Fall but they chose a photo with bare trees in winter.

I forgot to pay close enough attention but from memory of the list, I’ve been to Ole Miss, SMU, USNA, U Penn, Tulane, Arizona, and Princeton.

Some nice pictures, but some head scratchers. I’ve seen the following. I’ll put in parentheses the ones where I would have gone with another:

Arizona, Pepperdine (Stanford, Cal, UCLA), Colorado, Yale, Delaware, Chicago, Indiana, Tulane, Naval Academy, Wake (Duke), Dartmouth, Princeton, Colgate (West Point), Kenyon, Penn (Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr), Vanderbilt (Sewanee), SMU (Rice), UVA (William & Mary, Richmond), Georgetown, Middlebury
