<p>so i might not get into the business school at maryland since its looking like the reqs are very high, 3.8+ and ill be in the 3.2-3.5 range........</p>

<p>i dont personally want to end up finance, i just want to travel, and i figured since smith (UMD business) was so reputable it would get me into a 50% traveling career.</p>

<p>IS econ for me? ive taken the classes, know what its about, done communciations and english speeches on economic issues, etc. </p>

<p>like i said, i just wanna travel 50% -90%, maybe business analyst, strategic consulting/management consulting, etc..</p>

<p>What other interests do you have besides traveling? Ever think of journalism, writing for travel magazines, travel business?</p>
