I'm graduating this December and I want to do some traveling before entering the workplace. I really want to travel throughout east Asia - China, Japan, and Korea specifically. How long should I travel for if I want to make this trip worth it? Should I go right after graduation or should I wait until spring for the better weather? Is going alone fun at all? How much should I expect to spend?

You might want to investigate programs that send recent American college grads to Asian countries to teach English. I know a lot of people who’ve done this right after graduation. living in China, Japan, and South Korea. I think you typically agree to a one-year contract, but it’s renewable. You can support yourself, live in an Asian country and maybe learn some Chinese/Japanese/Korean, and travel to other countries when you have a break.

That sounds fun, but I just want to visit, not work.
