<p>Edinburgh is a nice, manageable city with historic sites and points of interest but also great atmosphere. I've been there twice and it's fun simply walking around the streets of old town and venturing into little out-of-the way places. The castle, of course, is awesome, and its presence as the highest part of the city pretty much guarantees that you'll never get lost.</p>
