Traveling to Chicago and Michigan

How easy, if possible, is it to travel from Notre Dame to places like Chicago and Michigan, specifically the Chicago Chinatown and Ann Arbor? I had a hard time finding info on this so anything is helpful. Thanks.

Chicago is easy to get to on either the train, which leaves from the South Bend airport or the shuttle bus which leaves campus several times a day for the Chicago airports. Ann Arbor would be much tougher to reach without a car.

Driving to/from Chicago is a short 99 miles and takes less than two hours. Trains run all the time and so do busses.

Going to Ann Arbor is easy enough as well…the train will go straight into Ann Arbor and let you off at the Gandy Dancer restaurant.

I hope you’re not deciding between Notre Dame and Michigan though…? There’s NO question…ND!

Thanks. How much are the tickets for the train do you know? And nah, I plan on visiting people who are going to Michigan. I’m all for ND.

9 dollars each way to Chicago
