Trend in Transcript

Just curious…

which one looks better? A transcript with straight A’s throughout high school or a transcript with improving grades…for example:

Transcript A:
Freshmen year - junior year: straight A’s with the most challenging classes.

Transcript B:
Freshmen Year:
First Semester: A,A,A,A,A, B, C
Second Semester: A,A,A,A,A,A,B

Sophomore Year:
First Semester:A,A,A,A,A,A,B
Second Semester: A,A,A,A,A,A,A,

Junior Year:
First Semester: A,A,A,B,B,B
Second Semester: A,A,A,A,A,B

By the way, as you might’ve guessed already, Transcript B is mine

So, should I even aim for ivies or no?

honest opinion appreciated…

please, any comment????

Always aim for the ivies:)

We need more info. That many Bs might be OK if you go to a VERY top high school and your Bs still allow you to be near the top of the class.

A, if you don't have a good reason for B

Why would getting all A's be WORSE than improving? Obviously improving is great, but there's no downside to starting off strongly
