Should I get the Tribal Fever membership? What are the benefits of it?

haha are they sending e-mails to prospective students about that? I’ve got to say they may be one of the best organized groups on campus.

I was a member of Tribal Fever this past year, it’s worth signing up for if you plan on really following Tribe football and basketball. They organize bus trips to away football games for really cheap, which is the biggest benefit of membership imo. You cannot sign up for the bus trips unless you are a member of the Tribal Fever and it is much more expensive to try and attend these games on your own. So if you want to go to some away games, I’d recommend signing up for it. They also arranged buses for away basketball games too.

There are other smaller perks, like you get to sit in the special Tribal Fever section for football games. But Zable is so small that all the seats are about the same quality… also no one is going to say anything to you if you sit there and aren’t a member of Tribal Fever.

They tried to add me as a friend on facebook.

They go all out with recruiting early lol. But it’s definitely worth joining if you want to follow the football and basketball teams on the road.

you should join… it’s only $15. You get a tshirt. Last year they had buses to the football game @Richmond, @UVA, and @Villanova in the playoffs. They also had a bus to the NIT game @UNC. They have some discounts sometimes with local stores. You get reserved seating sections, which will put you near the court at bball games.

Tribal Fever is helping to build some passion for WM athletics among the student body. If you play an instrument, you should join the pep band… but if you don’t, you should definitely join tribal fever.

You definitely don’t need to join “right now” though… you can join up in the fall when you get to campus. Talk to them at the activities fair that goes on during orientation.
