TRIBUTE to SAT..... it's been an poignant adventure...

well, i, for one, am actually quite sad upon realizing the fact that i will never take another sat for the rest of my life

ive spent the past 3 years studying for it, and now, that time is considered "squandered," since SAT knowledge is purposeless

i just want to say, that SAT had its ups and downs, and that as ridiculous as it seems, i feel quite teary-eyed that i'll never take another one for the rest of my life

anyway, what was your top score?

Math: 800
Critical: 580 (disgusting)
Writing: 690 (9 essay, ((SICK!!)))

ps, to all you seniors out there, pay your respects!!

Wow i got the exact same score as you.. though i'm getting my dec scores tomorrow!

fingers crossed

i hope santa is good this year :)

Hopefully my scores go up significantly, I'm don't even care anymore. But I'm sorta going to miss taking the SATs. I thought it was fun waiting in line and hearing everyone panic over the silliest things. I was hoping I went out with a bang. We'll just have to see tomorrow.

I must say that I am quite happy to let the SAT go.
My May 2005 scores were: 740M, 600CR, and 560W. But I know both my reading and writing December scores will be higher.

And I second that!

740M, 660CR, 770W

I took in December, I think both my math and reading scores went up, writing went down significantly.

I only took it once, thankfully: 730 R 600 M 700 W (12 on essay)

I'm very happy to never do it again.

730 Verbal 700 Math 580 Writing (11 essay...i got rocked)

We'll see tomorrow, but as of yet, my highest score are...

760 verbal
760 math
710 writing (11 essay)

:) Funny to hear I'm not the only one; despite how much I've hated SATs, it's kind of sad to think we'll never have to take one again!

Well. I've been a good girl this year, Santa! Treat me well, come Monday!

Farewell, Noble SAT.

I took the test, I believe 5 times. My last one was the October ones.

Looking back I guess I should have taken them that November as well. but It doesn't really matter since I got into PSU.
with my best scores.

Math:630
Verbal:640
Writing:620

I'll forever be linked to the number 1270 :) I will still contest for years to come that if I had really wanted to, I could have paid 1,000 bucks and gotten a 1470 Instead, Just because, I barely studied for my tests. the only studying for my last one was going over a practice test on Number2.com on the Thursrday before the test for like 3 hours. My score was still the Best in My entire School so A Booyah!!! for that.

My SAT was what probably got me into Penn State the 48th best College in America. So thanks SAT's, you proved my intelligence for me. So if I do get a D or worse this six weeks in Honors Calculus, I still will have had the best SAT score in the whole School no matter what.

So anxious ...

Desperately need a big raise on CR and W !!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I will see it tomorrow morning ..

Actually, PSU is more like 96th best... you're forgetting about LACs (Swarthmore, Williams, etc. . .)

joshb, not quite right. I don't think many people think number on liberal arts list=number on national universities list. Usually, the national universities list is more competitive, so 48 on that list is better than 48 on the liberal arts list. Like, note that the first 3 on the universities list have peer assessment scores of 4.9 (+MIT is 4.9 too), whereas no schools have even a 4.8 on the liberal arts list.

just ask me, i basically memoried pg 82 and 83 on the usnews 2006 ranking mag..

so many random facts!!! (aka, berkeley and emory are tied for 20th)

You people need to get lives...Seriously, the SAT is a TEST. I was forced to do it. How can feel nostalgic about a TEST? I'm happy to say I've never looked back on any exam and got teary eyed out of joy, or out of anything for that matter.

Lawl, never got teary eyed over a particular test. Just the whole process in general. Think. :P You never get to do this again, like you'll never get to run around in the playground when you're 8 years old.
