I'll start:

1) Master the vocab!
2) Use your head!
3) Get a good nights sleep before you take the SAT!!! 4) Do the SAT QotDs as a warmup before taking any SAT exam.

7) Listen to NPR.
8) Commit to the SAT with passion and tell yourself it's fun! I don't know about you, but I can't imagine doing too well if I were to walk into the SAT administration room with a pessimistic attitude.

10) get an adequate amount of caffeine in your system (I did 2 rockstars) and make sure you have something to eat as a snack, 3.75 hours is a long time to just sit and be attentive.

12) Conserve enough energy to do well on sections 8, 9 and 10 -- the three sections in which they're all guaranteed to count. This means there's no "test" section in these last 3 sections.

14)Try circling the answers on the booklet, and then transferring every five answers to the answer sheet (when time starts to run out, transfer every answer immediately) and circle the number of a question you might want to go back to. Transferring every fifth answer saves time from you looking back and forth from the answer sheet to the booklet.

No its actually encouraged if 2 or more answers are eliminated, and its even money if one answer is eliminated, which is not hard to do for ANY question.
