Trig in summer school?

What do you think about taking a 12 day trigonometry course over summer school. Math has never been my strong point (Freshmen year Bs in Basic Geometry, Sophomore year Cs in Algebra II), but I want my transcript to show that I won't just give up on a topic because it is difficult for me. I am probably going to have a tutor help me with the material everyday after summer school and dedicate those 12 days to trig... but I was just wondering what you all thought about this since I'm not very good at math and it is not required.

*I am coming back from a trip that gives me an 8 hr time difference the day before summer school starts... do you think this will give me a bad start/that the time zone difference will be a problem for me?

*Classes are from 8-1:30 Monday-Friday

If you are not good at math, taking an accelerated math class is probably not the best choice for you.

Would you suggest taking a creative writing course instead?
**I just need something to do over the summer, but because I am taking a family vacation that ends July 15th there aren’t many things that I can do. Any suggestions?

Can you get a job or do some volunteer work in the summer? What things do you like to do?

I can’t get a job because there are only 20 days between when I get back from vacation and when school starts for me.
Could I possibly start a travel blog instead to showcase the places I went and things I learned instead?
*I regularly volunteer at a grief counseling center throughout the year, but I don’t think that is enough for the summer.
