Trinity Applicant Considering Sending SAT

Hi,

I recently applied for Life Sciences with my first choice college being Trinity. I’m a Canadian student, and my grade 12 first-term required courses GPA for U of T is a 91 (english, chem, calc, bio). My grade 11 academic GPA is 90. I have also taken the SAT, and got a 1260. I retook it in Jan and am pretty confident it’ll be about 100 pts higher. Would it be beneficial for me to send my SAT score in to U of T/Trinity College?

TIA!

bump!

I was going to say it can’t hurt, but U of T has a cutoff for SAT scores for US applicants. That cutoff is 600 in each section. If you’re too close to 600 (or even worse, below 600), sending the SAT score would hurt. I would say if you’ve got at least 680 in each section, send it in, otherwise don’t.

I got accepted recently to trinity and I did not send my sat scores, however I did submit my act scores which was a super score 31 with the lowest section score of 29 and the highest 35. I know it’s not the the sat, but I hope it helps.

@bouders @leesle1234 thanks for letting me know! I think I’ll send my new score if it’s a lot better.
