Can anyone share insights or personal experiences with these schools? I realize that Trinity is more selective and ranked higher etc. I'm more interested in knowing about the school climate. Another area of interest would be the surrounding areas of each school. Are they unsafe? Can a student easily access public transportation? What kind of student is attracted to each? Thanks so much for any replies.

Any ideas to share?

Very generally, Clark is more of a free-thinking, free-spirited, and intellectual place. And Trinity offers more of a traditional college experience. The choice is sort of a mini version of the ol' BU vs. BC debate (though no analogy is stated here without somebody pointing out its flaws). Clark's neighborhood in Worcester isn't the best, and isn't the worst, either. Clark does seem to be quite self-contained, though, so the more unsavory aspects of the neighborhood don't have much effect on the actual campus.

Clark is also better for independent research...but Trinity is much more prestigious
