I go to a fairly rigorous New England boarding school with a lot of matriculation to these schools.
Trinity, Conn College, Skidmore, Hobart, Union.
Currently a Junior c/o 2017. Trinity is my #1 and I’m a legacy there.
SAT- 1250/1600
Grades-
US History- B- (rigorous course, took optional AP exam confident I got a 4 or 5)
Biology- B+ (also honors level)
English- B
Pre-Calc- C+ (Teacher passed away midway through year, reason for lower grade)
Spanish 3- B-
Photo Class- A-

Freshmen/Sophmore gpa- 2.8 (took me a while to get it together)

Loading up on high level classes for senior year. Hope to improve GPA as well. Taking highest level history class offered and a challenging Art Law Class.

I’m a strong writer so my essays will be strong and the interviews I’ve done so far have gone really well.

Activities-
3 year Varsity Basketball (Assistant Captain next year),

3 year Varsity Football (Captain next year),

2 year JV lacrosse Captain, 1 year Varsity Lacrosse next year,

Supervised Study Hall proctor (Leadership Position, 4 hours a week),

School Newspaper Writer,

2 Week Law Internship this summer,

4 years of AAU Summer basketball,

Volunteer Work at soup kitchens (50hrs) and mentoring underprivileged kids (25+ hrs).

Please give me some advice and my what you think my chances are to get into these schools (Trinity especially), and if you have any ideas for what would be a good safety for me let me know. Thanks for reading and any advice or wisdom given is much appreciated.
