I am very curious about trinity . My daughter is a senior. What is the Jewish life like at trinity. what are most of the kids like. How difficult is it to get in?

Jewish students are not uncommon, although I am unsure of any clubs affiliated with it. Contrary to its name, Trinity is nonsectarian. I personally know students of dozens of faiths here, and it creates a healthy diversity among the student body.

The students at Trinity are preppy, and the majority of them come from competitive private and boarding schools on the East Coast. There is a growing international student body, and students from just about all 50 states can be found on campus. It is certainly an engaging academic and social environment. The professors are top notch, and that is perhaps the most rewarding aspect of the school.

Trinity’s admission rate this year went from 41% to 26.7%, due in large part to the record increase in applicants. Trinity is climbing the ranks, and it will continue to thrive as a top LAC for years to come.

While Jewish students at Trinity are a minority, there is a definitely a Jewish community centered around the Hillel house. The Hillel house is a beautiful new building that offers special meals for Shabbat and Holidays, Jewish Services, community service, as well as programing for the whole school. The website for the Trinity Hillel is: [Shabbat and Holidays](http://www.trincoll.edu/StudentLife/TheChaplaincy/communities/Hillel/Pages/Shabbat.aspx) Hope this helps
