Figured I should set up a topic in case anyone who applied to Trinity (EA) wants to discuss something. I'm currently waiting for Trinity notification and have nothing better to do. Please come and introduce yourself.

My son got accepted today. 33 on ACT (34 Math, 35 Science), National AP Scholar (including 5s on BC Calculus, Biology, Physics-Mechanics, Physics-E&M, and Computer Science), NM commended, Varsity Basketball, two-year hospital volunteer, paid work experience, 3.53/4.0 cumulative GPA from one of the toughest high schools in America, 3.88 junior year. He wants to double major in Engineering Science and Physics. Trinity is one of his top-two choices so he is very excited!

congratulations! I haven’t received my decision yet…

I received my acceptance email yesterday (Dec. 12). Trinity is currently my number one choice so I was thrilled!! Good luck on your admission as well, evelynne. :)

Thank you, @kittykat920. I’m really worried and confused though; seems like it’s only me who hasn’t received an email.

Don’t sweat it yet, evelynne. Our S is waiting also. Admissions advised us that everyone should have notice by Dec 15, Monday. Makes for a bit of a long weekend…

Accepted yesterday!! 33 ACT, 4.0 cumulative GPA, 3 year Varsity athlete, National Honor Society, AP Scholar with honor, and Girls State Governor.

Does anyone know if scholarship offers will be included in the acceptance letters coming through the mail?

@anxious42105 I was wondering the same thing about scholarships. Do we think those packets were mailed the same day the emails were sent out? If so, we can probably expect to find out within the next few days

It’s ridiculous since I requested an interview two times but never got a response from them, then they decided to waitlist me because I’m overqualified.

@anxious42015 The Murchison Scholarship award was included in my son’s admission package. Based on your stats, you should have qualified.

I found out I was accepted via email, but I found out I got a scholarship through a letter in the mail.

Got accepted a few days ago, and have decided to enroll
2020 SAT, 3.8 GPA, Editor of Literary Magazine, NHS, 100+ hours community service, held two jobs in the States, Rotary Youth Ambassador to France (living in France right now)

Super excited to be a tiger next year!

My son checked on line and was accepted today in Mechanical Engineering. He had a 33 on the ACT (34 Math, 35 Science). Also a National AP Scholar (including 5s on BC Calculus, Biology, Physics-Mechanics, Physics-E&M, and Computer Science), NM commended, Varsity Basketball, two-year hospital volunteer, paid work experience, 3.53/4.0 cumulative GPA from one of the toughest high schools in America, 3.88 junior year GPA.

Miami was the last school my son applied to. It was not really on our radar, but I looked at the merit aid, read a lot, and talked him into applying. He does not want to stay in Arizona. With his older brother, we visited Michigan, Rose-Hulman, Purdue, and Illinois. He likes the Midwest. He has been accepted to several small schools and several very large state schools. Miami may be that Goldilocks option: not too small, not too big, but just right, especially with its top ranking for undergraduate teaching. We need to visit.

Please disregard my last post. It was intended for Miami University (Ohio).

did you all apply for EA1?? cause trinity offers EA2 as well.

Accepted.
ACT: 28
Weighted GPA: 4.059
5 APs and 5 Honors.
Really strong essay and good extracurriculars.
Received $19,000 merit scholarship.
Out of state.

Anyone apply EA2? D is waiting to hear.
Not yet, son applied. I believe Feb15 is the stated date for notice.
I’m waiting to hear about EDII as well. A lot of colleges send out decisions before the date on their website. Does anyone know if Trinity does this?
I’m not sure about last year but they released the results on Feb 9 in 2013. Does anyone know when did they send out the results last year?
