Trinity v. UT Austin Biology/Pre-Med Programs

I am deciding between Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) and University of Texas at Austin and plan on majoring in biology or biochemistry and going on a pre-med/health career track. I feel like I have made my decisions about which college I prefer as far as location, professor accessibility, size, etc. but I am still wondering how the biology education I would receive at each college would differ. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

You will have no problem getting into Med School from either school if you study hard and do well on the MCAT.

The key is to find the school you will feel more comfortable in. If your priority is smaller classes with professor accessibility, then Trinity wins hands down. Have you seen their new $231M CSI building, or spoken to their Bio and Chem professors? Top notch all the way.

Suggest you visit both, if you have not already done so. I think that will make the difference clear, and make for a relatively easy decision for you.

Good luck!
