ooo...my apologies...thank you for correcting me...i was confused :)

Ha, so was I. I actually was slightly surprised to see a thread on a smaller midwestern LAC and was disappointed to find out it was the "other" school.

Does anyone have any info about Monmouth U's honors college? My D is very interested. Also, we sent my D's stats to them, and they have told us that she'll be getting in the neighborhood of $12--13K/year. That brings it down to almost what a state school is. We're hoping for a little extra for ECs.

All the dumb rich kids in my town go to Monmouth.

Arctic, Can you tell me how you define "dumb"? B student, C- student, combined SAT score of 850 or 1100 (verbal and math)? I looked back at your old posts, and no Monmouth is not nearly as competitive to get into as the school that I believe that you are attending, LOL, but is it an okay school? That is what I am trying to assess. I am sure that other posters and lurkers would like to know too.

US News gives the SAT and GPA statistics for Monmouth College. I think that this information gives a more complete picture than Arctic's impressions of his acquaintances who go there:
