Triple Jumpers?!!!!!

<p>what's a good enough women's triple jump to get recruited by Div. 3 colleges?</p>

<p>Division III schools do not “officially” recruit- no recruiting visits provided, etc. (See NCAA guidelines). However the DIII women’s Triple Jump standards are listed as: Recruit- 36’0" Walk-On 31’0".</p>

<p>DIII does their own version of “unofficial” recruiting, they just don’t pay for your transportation. They do pay for lunch for you and family when you visit! DIII Coaches call recruits, email recruits and invite you for overnights with the team. In our experience if they are not calling you and inviting you to be part of the team your chances are very slim for making the team. D1 was a “recruited” DIII athlete in basketball, soccer and track at several LACs. Coaches came to watch her play at high school and club level. Seems like recruiting to me!</p>
