triple legacy at Cornell...but low sat writing. Chance me?

I am a triple legacy applying to Cornell RD. 3.9/4 GPA. 2100 SAT (760 CR, 730 Math, 610 writing). Sat subject scores: 780 US History, 700 Chem. Will graduate with 12 APs and all other courses are honors.

My essays are good and original, but nothing exceptional.

10/10 with my recs, I’ve known both teachers for many years.

EC’s include longtime competitive figure skater, Howard Hughes Medical Institute grant recipient (which resulted in a published lab manual for undergrads), piano (chamber music and regional recitals), 2x key club president (500+ community service hours), very active in local jewish community, National Spanish Honor Society, volunteer for the bernie sanders campaign and a number of other local organizations. I’ve had a couple of summer jobs as well.

Will the low sat writing kill my chances?

Your low sat writing will not kill your chances. Those are some very impressive EC’s! As long as you didn’t seriously screw up your essays, I think you have a great chance

P.S. your sat writing score isn’t even THAT low!

Cornell doesn’t consider Writing part of the SAT I’m pretty sure.

looks solid. I’m applying to Cornell too, my scores are a bit higher but my EC’s aren’t as impressive (if you want to see them: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1837466-stanford-mit-columbia-what-do-you-think.html#latest ).

Just an update- I was accepted regular decision  thank you all for the encouragement
