Triple Major?

I have heard of people being able to do this at Wesleyan. Does anyone have any insight as to how difficult this would be do to do? How many courses are needed in a field in order to declare a major in it?

Yes, students can and do triple major, though rarely. If you have a few hours, just go onto the Wesleyan website and look up the departments you plan to major in. All requirements are listed and you can construct an imaginary four year curriculum for yourself.

Yes, I just took a quick look and the Astronomy, Physics, and Mathematics departments seem to overlap relatively well. Ahh, so much to consider.

And once you get to that point of choosing a major in sophomore year, you will be able to get the insights of the department chairs, various faculty, your academic advisor, and of course other students who are majoring in the departments of your choice. My son is going through this right now at Wesleyan and I am very pleased with the availability of these folks to help him answer his questions. He is probably doing a double major in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Science in Society.

Alright sounds great, thanks for the information.
