<p>is it a good idea to request a triple at duke? i heard from some people that the rooms are huge... and from others that it isn't a big deal</p>
<p>The only triples I’ve seen have been huge. I mean, it’s probably not a big deal…just consider whether or not you WANT to live with 2 other people. For me, I had a hard time living with one roommate for the first time, let alone would I have wanted to live with two. </p>
<p>Just a note, my doubles (one on east, one on west) have been huge as well. Provided you aren’t in Blackwell or Randolph freshman year chances are you’re room will be a pretty good size even if it’s a double or a single.</p>
