So, I'm taking practice tests in the barron's sat math subject test level II and so far I've gotten 650, 620, and 640 on three of the tests. My goal is getting a 750+, but now it seems like I can't even reach 700+. Anyone know why>?

Barrons are harder than real tests, but not that much harder. Add 50-100 points though, so you are in decent shape.

Wait, so where am I looking right now in real terms/score?

lookie here i wrote some examples

Lol, 50-100 points is a big range…

I bought a Barron’s book thinking it would challenge me and help me get an 800. However, Barron’s is brutally hard. Almost every question in it is a harder question. 620-650 is pretty good but if you want to get in the high 700s, you should aim to get a 700 on the next practice.

I would suggest that if you are taking the Math 2 test, you aim for an 800. Many other high achievers take this test, so a 790 is only the 89th percentile.

So I just got a 680 on my third test…how is this looking?

Chances are, you will get at least a 750 if you can manage your time effectively. Usually, if you cannot figure one out on the real subject test, there is a way to do it with your calculator if you have enough time left over.

Yeah barons definitely helps with the timing more than anything. You’ll find yourself with too much time left over on the real exam.

I took a Barron’s practice a couple night before and got a 650, then took a CB practice and got an 800 - it really isn’t an accurate representation of what you know
