Tritonlink is an abomonination

It's an embarrassment to the school how unreliablie, unsteady, and clunky that awful piece of crap program is. I want to check financial aid...down. I want to check billing...down. It's down at least 20% of the time. It's just a freakin joke. Whoever wrote that awful program (let's hope it's not CS majors) needs to be tasered. Ok, I am done. Tritonlink sucks. Incoming Freshmen get used to it.

Uhh... its been working all day for me... Did you ever try refreshing?? That usually does the trick... The only serious problems that ever occur on TritonLink are due to busy servers, and refreshing always works for me...

Oh, and all school websites are crappy... I think people who design them purposely do it to frustrate students. But even my mother has no problems with TritonLink, and she barely knows how to e-mail people, so it can't be that bad...

hmm, thats odd. I have never had any problems with tritonlink. i dont remember it being down even once.

Well, i've never really seen it "down" either. I've had some difficulty logging in during times of particularly high traffic (like registration time...), but it always works after a refresh or two...

UCSD's website is definitely pretty crappy, but this, I think, partially stems from the fact that they've stopped maintaining and attempting to improve it; this is because, according to what I was told at orientation, UCSD is planning to launch a completely new website in the fall and so I guess they've stopped caring too much about this website.

The OP's spelling is an abomination.

haha (10 char)

hahaha. I didn't even notice.

I liked Tritonlink though... I don't want it to change...

Are you sure you are logging in before midnight and after 7 AM? It's always down after midnight for maintenance.

actually, usually it's still up then too, but sometimes it isn't

k just went on to look at schedule of classes, and then it worked.
then i go to web reg a second later and it doesn't work.
usually this doesn't happen, and if it does, they usually have some sort of thing posted like "tritonlink will be unavailable from ___ to ____ on ..."etc.
perhaps it is because they're working on launching the new webiste soon...?

But if that were the case, there would be probably be some sort of warning on the main page...
