3) i would say now would be a perfect time to visit. because
a. you will get a better sense of how much you want to go there before you apply
b. it is between midterms and finals right now, so you will get a fair view of regular campus life and if you wanted to sit in on a class or something, it wouldn’t be high stress
c. the weather is better. you don’t want to come later down the road when it is always raining.

always raining (meaning like one inch all year)

don’t come when we’re on winter break, obviously, because no one will be here so the campus will look dead.

If you don’t get any answers here, do a search about gay life at USC. I know there have been other discussions about it.

The off-campus interview is just like the on-campus- it really depends on the interviewer, but the interviews are general pretty basic. It’s nice if you have a resume you can bring so the interviewer can focus on your accomplishments that you want them to talk about. They will probably ask why you want to go to USC, what you would contribute, etc. You can search for other threads here on what else was asked.

(I laughed also, when I read your “always raining” comment, tumblweed32. We have had winters like that, but not lately! I can’t wait for it to rain to clean up all the ashes that are still in the gutters.) I think anytime of the year is good to visit when school is in session, but Feb. and March can possibly be rainy- if we’re lucky.

lol i agree
how about… colder? =P

or breezy, with a chance of dampness.

The weather was so nice there when I visited. It’s breezy, not cold or warm. The perfect place to take naps outside.
