Trojan Transfer Plan Question

Hello,

I applied for USC while I was in high school and was rejected, but received information regarding the "trojan transfer plan" where they wanted to meet with me to schedule how to transfer. I believe I received this because I am legacy.

I was a bit confused by this offer, and not thinking much of it, I ended up attending another school and didn't set up a meeting to do the TTP.

A few years later, I'm currently attending a 4-year university and have applied to transfer to USC. Does being on the TTP improve your chances of getting in? Will having ignored the offer in high school hinder my chances of transferring in now?

Thanks for any information!

Hi zackt147,
I am currently on the TTP and I met with the counselor last June. At the meeting I was given a paper that showed the GE classes I had to take and that said I needed to get at least a 3.6 in 30 transferable units and then apply. The offer was that I could probably get admitted in 2 or 3 semesters if that all occurred. I think that you would have had to have met with them and applied during your freshman year but it is worth a phone call to find out.
Good luck
