Might be lame, but this might be a good way to learn the basics of USC.

You get a point for each right answer. Give other people a chance! One answer per post, and one post per hour (or whatever's reasonable). And try to be absolutely correct and not technically correct...

1) Who's the current USC President?
2) Who's the official mascot?
3) What are the school colors?
4) Year USC was founded?
5) What's Tommy Trojan's (or the whole monument's) official name?
6) Where is Tommy Trojan?
7) What is he made out of?
8) Who was the "mascot" that got run over?
9) Name the newspaper.
10) Latin motto?

He was a little homeless dog from the 1920s who was USCs mascot. There is a statue dedicated to him on the campus. I think he was run over by a car eventually because he liked to Bite Tires

The statue is bronze and is the “Trojan Shrine”. Tommy Trojan is a nickname.
Around the base of the statue are the words: Faithful, Scholarly, Skillful, Courageous and Ambitious.

yeah thats what I thought cause I was always like I want to wear the cardinal and gold (in fact wearing ,y cardinal and gold sweatshirt right this moment although now it kinda looks plain red cause its a little faded)

… D’oh. ONLY “A FEW” ANSWERS PER POST. That was put in there because I knew that most people know most of them because these questions are “basic.”

And it’s technically George Tirebiter, but Georgie is closer than just Tirebiter…

OK- wait- I need more rules. Can we Google the answers or are we on our honor to just answer from our own knowledge? Do you want us to just answer ONE of the questions? I think when you said “one answer per post”, some thought you meant they could answer all the questions but with only one answer per question.

Lol, I guess you can google because that would mean that you’re willing to learn about USC.

And “One answer” per post was just a way for people to get a chance to answer. Just be reasonable. Don’t answer all of the questions in one post. Answer “three”… ish… at the most…

Ok-
GERO= Gerontology. I think this sounds like a cool subject. You can’t stop people from getting old so the job market could always be good.
