tropical storm

I didn't know until D told me this morning. So I figured I would let all you know who have kids down there.
Storm Alert:
Monday, October 29, 6 p.m.
Next update after the 11 a.m. advisory on Tuesday, October 30.

The University administration is currently monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Noel. At this time all University events, classes, and clinical activities are on a regular schedule. To learn more about how the University prepares for a crisis, please browse this Web site.

This is forcast to remain a tropical storm, and with little open water between its current location and Florida, even if it "hits" it will be windy and rainy, but not a hurricane. Having lived in Florida most of 40 years, this will be a few dreary days, with some heavy rains at times and heavy winds, but be gone by weekend with just puddles left behind. And some palm branch debris.

My S has been very involved with the Homecoming committee and is really hoping it clears out by the time the parade and outdoor events start on Friday.

and the kids' plans for Halloweening at the Grove!
