Tropicana Del Norte.. Is it worth it?

<p>At the Spring Insight Open House at UCSB this past weekend, I got a brochure from the Tropicana del Norte offcampus privately-owned housing. It looks interesting and super nice, and is actually cheaper than the on-campus dorms. Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone lived with Tropicana del Norte and can tell me about your experience there? Would you recommend it for freshman?</p>

<p>when i was little, i used to pass by that section of IV heading towards the university…haha this forum is wayyyyyyyyyyy too local</p>

<p>it’s less hectic near el colegio, or so ive heard…so that depends on your priorities</p>

<p>They gave me the brochure, but IDK… I think I already decided on San Raf. The rooms do look very nice though. I want to be on campus, etc.</p>
