Trouble deciding between IT and CS

Well, This summer, I am going to have to start applying for colleges, I am currently stuck between Computer Science and Information Technology as a major though.

I am currently in a Cisco Networking class, I am doing great in it (Year average is a 96%) I have also taken a C/C++ class in school, I did well it it (93%). Currently I like my Cisco class more then the C class. I am the kind of person who always has to be doing something with my hands. I have also been an aid in the "Basic Computer and Networking" class my school offers.

I am also taken CAD classes in school, Technical Drafting, CAD, Architecture, and next year, Engineering. I also love doing that sort of stuff, I do not really see that as a profession for me though, I am more of a computer nerd rather then a designer.

Thanks for the help :-D

Math is my strong subject, I have always been in the highest level math offered at my school and have done well in it.

I am leaning to IT at the moment, I am looking at drexel currently and they seem to have a good IT program (5 year co/op) Here is the link. Also, just for comparison, here is a link to the CS recommended plan of study from drexel. Here is also a link to their IS major, it seems to be similar to their IT program, I am not really sure what the difference is.

Any suggestions would be great, It is difficult to really be able to tell what I am interested in by reading something on the screen, I suppose I am looking for a personal experience or suggestions. Also, which degree out of college will give me a better chance to get a job? Drexel supposedly has a great co/op program, I am hoping that if I get accepted to Drexel, I will have a job waiting for me after college, but I am not planning on that by any means.

If you like your Cisco class more then C ,I would say you would enjoy being a Network engineer more then being a programmer. that is good since there is alot of pressure on the software development industry from offshore companies.

Network engineers and architects are concerned with designing networks based on certain standards. these networks can be local or wide area / global in nature.

that said, it won't really help with a network career. CS with network engineering classes would be ok, EE or CE would be the more traditional route for many network engineers.
