Trouble figuring out how many transferrable units I have

Ok I need a little help with this.

As of now I am 100% sure I'll have at least 57 units completed by the end of this semester from my CC. But I don't know how to add the units I have from my one quarter at Cal Poly, and the ones from my AP test.

Now at Cal Poly I took 8 transferable quarter units. So are they going to convert those into semester units (which would be 5.33 I think?) and then add those to my total of 57?

And I passed the Calc AB test. I looked it up at each schools site, and they say I will receive 4 units credit for that. Do those 4 get added just like that or are they converted to semester units (2.66) and then get added or do they get added at all or what?

The reason I ask is because I'm taking a 4 unit class that I would love to drop right now before I screw myself over and get my future acceptances rescinded or something. And yes I will ask a counselor but it takes two weeks to get an appointment and I wanna find out as soon as I can.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I will only have 57 units from my community college by the time i transfer. I also have 2 ap courses each of which count as 4 quarter units. So that’s 5.33 semester units from ap tests. Thus I am above the 60 required units. This is what my counselors told me and has been confirmed by everything i’ve read about it. I’m sure your counselor would say the same thing.

I love dropping classes =D. You have to notify the schools that you applied to though, right?

Thanks for replying  I’m pretty sure I’d have to notify the school. Even if I didn’t have to whats the harm in doing it, you know? They’re gonna reject me for sending an email I wasn’t supposed to? :P

you’re suppose to transfer that into your community college, because that helps you complete igetc certification. your community college, based on what they accept, should give you an indication of where you stand.
