Trouble matching these criteria

Looking for mid size school that has good school spirit. A-/B studen. t 29 act. Having trouble finding good sports / school spirit without going to large university. Any suggestions??

University of Alabama - Birmingham is in NCAA Division I for sports and has about 11,000 undergraduates. It has a $15,000 per year scholarship for students with a 3.0 GPA and 28 ACT, leaving remaining cost of attendance of around $10,000 out of state.

If you want even bigger time sports (as in the biggest time football teams) with non-huge enrollments, the choices are few: Boston College, Duke, Miami, Notre Dame, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest. Not all of these are realistic at your stats.

Thanks - would love those you mentioned but feel like all a bit of reach . Looked into Alabama, but afraid a bit too southern conservative . Doesn’t have to be huge football school but at least some school spirit and interest in sports

University of Missouri? Lovely campus, “small” by D1 state flagship standards, great school spirit, fun town.

How big is your limit?

Would love to keep under 15,000. Just think in would fair better than in very large university .

Check out St. John’s University-College of St. Ben’s in Collegeville, MN. Great football tradition and culture, quality academics, ample school spirit, and your 29 ACT would put you right at their 75th percentile so admission should be pretty straightforward.
