I bought the online ACT for my daughter. She's tried using it two weekends in a row and she gets into a test timed. It times out when she's on one of the first questions and doesn't let her back in. You also can't print out the test. Customer service doesn't let you call them and they stopped responding to emails. Did anyone else have this problem? Also, if you put schools in to have scores sent can you cancel them?

There is no online ACT that yields scores that you can send to anyone. Are you talking about ACT Online Prep?

I'm talking about 2 different things. The ACT online prep is the thing we can't get to work, and I was wondering if I could cancel the sending of scores of an ACT test my daughter hasn't taken yet. Thanks for responding.

Yes, you can cancel the sending of scores of an ACT you have not taken yet, you can even do that for a test you have taken, you just have to pay a fee I believe, you might even be able to change it on the test date.

Up until the Thursday AFTER the test, you can add or delete college choices. This will prevent reports from being sent to particular colleges. There is no fee for removing choices or for adding choices up to the four you are allowed for free when you register (there would be a fee for adding a 5th or 6th college choice this way--same as when you register). Your scores are still valid, so you (and your high school, if you provided one) will still get a score report and you can still have those scores sent to colleges later.

You can also cancel scores that HAVE been sent to colleges--ACT will send a letter to the schools saying the scores are cancelled. This is an all-or-nothing thing, and scores cancelled this way can no longer be sent to anyone.
