I am having trouble with CR and writing questions on the SAT practice tests. I was just wondering for all of the people who did well in these sections, what could I do to increase my scores?

For CR, memorizing vocab is the only way to jump start your CR score if your score is low. My reasoning is this: you’re probably suffering on the CR because you don’t understand the passage or, even worse, the question and the choices. The first step, a crucial step, in answering a problem is to first know what the question is asking. After that, I would recommend taking practice tests and going over your mistakes. The latter is extremely important. The main reason you’re taking practice tests should be to identify your weaknesses and improve upon them.
As for Writing, it’s all a matter of grammar. I highly suggest reading Xiggi’s method for insightful tips on how to ace the test. It contains material for CR, too, I believe. Personally, the posts helped me tremendously. Good Luck :D
