Right now I have already asked for two teacher recommendations. However, one of them was a teacher I had in sophomore year. Is it worth it to ask for another junior year teacher for a recommendation letters or should I let it be? I plan on applying to very selective schools.

This isn’t really a problem. Just get recs from the teachers that know you best. If that means getting one from a sophomore teacher… do it.

So is it better to just be settled with those two letters or should I get another one?

Two recommendations are enough.

2 is more than enough, unless they REQUIRE more.
