Troubled Mind, Graphic Design School.

Currently I'm enrolled at Embry-Riddle as an EE major. I just started my second year, and so far I have a 3.2 average.

I'm starting to think that engineering isn't really for me, and since it is mostly a specialized university, for to me find a new major, I'll have to transfer.

I realized that I'm much more into the arts than I am into engineering so I'm looking into an art oriented major.

I'm still unsure of what I want to do at this point, but I was wonder if any of you have any good recommendations for a school with a good graphics design program. I'd be happy with photography as well, but I think graphics design is more reliable. I don't really have any experience in either, so I'm not sure I'll be able to go to a school that requres some sort of portfolio for admission.

After living away from home for a while, I'd prefer it to be somewhere in Texas so I can visit home often, but that isn't a top priority. I know the should be accredited by the NASAD, and other than that, I don't really have any other specifications.

Thank you for any input and suggestions.

How about merging the two? RPI in NY has an electronic media, arts, and communication major:

Maybe you could find a college closer to home that offers something similar.
