troubles rising from sending $24,181 before I-20 arrives.. (international)

i mean, what would happen..?

I sent $24,181 by wire transfer without I-20 form..

About 4 days ago, when I told a bank clerk that I didn't bring admission permission form thingy from home, he said bring it next day... so I came back home, and looked for the form, but couldn't find any.. so i asked my admissions counselor what that form is, and she said it's I-20 form.. and she was kinda shocked to find that the clerk sent money without I-20.. she said that i caused "administrative problems" or the like...
(hope my description makes sense...!)

Please tell me what would happen....
thank you

Have you received your I-20 now? I was browsing and saw your thread. I also sent $24181 and have not received I-20 still? If possible, reply me today as I am planning to call CMU to find out what happened to my I-20.
Nowhere it is said that you can't send money first.

Not got your I-20? That's odd...and a tad serious.

When did you receive your I-20?

quite some time back. My interview is the day after tomorrow.

well, i got i-20 a couple of weeks ago and i gave the copy of it
to the bank..
