High Match-Low Reach depending upon major. Bump up your test scores into the 1250+ range for a better chance.

your SAT is a little low so, it will come down to your essays, make them sing.

Good luck

Don’t want to hijack jdog’s thread but was curious on this same subject as we are starting the application process.

My Daughter is a senior and looking at UCD (1st), UCSD (2nd), UCSB, UCB, UCSC to go into Bio major of some sort.

Hispanic female / CA resident

She has attended an accredited California online virtual high school, didn’t do well on her AP exams which is why she is attending the JC this fall for Bio to prove herself. Is it worth applying to all the UCs above or is it not worth the fee based on her stats? She is working with someone right now to write her 4 personal statements to they should be strong.

Thanks for any advice.
