I believe I read somewhere that Donald Trump attended Fordham. Since I've heard him talk about attending Wharton (University of Pennsylvania's business school) as an undergraduate, I presume that means he got his Masters' at Fordham.

I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is true--and if so, did he get an MBA (probably in Real Estate, I imagine) or some other masters' degree?

From his book:
After I graduated from the New York Military Academy in 1964 I flirted briefly with the idea of attending film school...But in the end I decided real estate was a much better business. I began by attending Fordham University...but after two years, I decided that as long as I had to be in college, I might as well test myself against the best. I applied to the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania and I got in...I was also very glad to get finished. I immediately moved back home and went to work full-time with my father.

Sounds like Fordham wasn't good enough for him

We dont all have rich - influential daddys to get us into the most "prestigious" and expensive universities in the country.

Fordham will do, trust me!

Yeah, I like Trump, but I remember how when Kelly Purdue won the apprentice "interview" a year or two ago, Trump went on and on about how his undergraduate West Point education was so important--and didn't say anything about his UCLA MBA background. The runner-up that year was from the SF area as well.

To me, Trump is too focused on the East Coast, Wharton and how performing in NYC is so hard--like the Silicon Valley and other tech sectors (biotech in San Diego and Houston; tech sector in Boston, etc) are just pieces of cake to work in. I'll have to remember that the next time I'm on my evening call to Asia from 6:30 PM to 9 PM local (Pacific) time.

Personally, I'll be quite interested to see what happens when the next apprentice rolls around, since its supposed to be focused on the west coast for a change.
