<p>What are the pros/cons of Trumbull?</p>
<p>So far, I've read that it is the smallest RC at Yale. Does this make it easier to join the College Council, intramurals, and things like that because of the smaller population?</p>
<p>Also, I know that it is basically connected to Sterling Library, which is a plus. Is it at the center of campus also?</p>
<p>If anybody (current Yalies included) know more about the good/bad of Trumbull, please post.</p>

<p>The food at Trumbull College is the best (I speak from personal dining experience, and I am not the only person to say so). I also find the courtyard and dining hall, with the views of Sterling’s exquisite stained glass windows to be a desirable feature. The location is actually very good; at the corner of Elm/Broadway and York (bookstore, shops), close to Cross Campus and near Durfees. Like most of the Residential Colleges, Trumbull was recently renovated, has great amenities. (For incoming Freshman, Bingham is probably some of the best housing on Old Campus). Does the OP have legacy there? Otherwise, it’s really up to chance.</p>
<p>All I know is that their Master wasn’t rated very highly in that YDN survey. I still want to know if Trumbull has a student kitchen or not. It seems like every other residential college does.</p>

<p>Yes! Also a theater, gym with treadmills etc., art gallery, theater, library, conference room, computer room, music rooms, etc. Just wait until you see it! Also, Bingham tower is excellent freshman housing, with great views, and located right over the laundry room in the basement, and the Chaplain’s office which has free ice cream whenever you like.</p>
<p>Haha thank you for the info! There isn’t much info on the Trumbull College website so I was left wondering when my assignment was leaked. Now I’m even MORE excited!</p>
<p>Just chiming in to second everything stringkeymom has said. Oldest S who just graduated lived in Trumbull, and youngest S entering Yale has chosen Trumbull to carry on the tradition. We also got to stay in Trumbull as parents for graduation week in May, and thoroughly enjoyed it.</p>

<p>Yes, there is a darkroom and an art studio, as well as the gallery for mounting shows.</p>

<p>Everyone doesn’t have a key to the “special rooms” in the colleges. Depending on the college, it’s handled differently. Some colleges might just always have those rooms open (doubtful). Many colleges have specified people in charge of the rooms, and whenever you want to use them, you just shoot that person an e-mail/call and they go open it for you.</p>
