Truncated posts ... did it happen to you?

I'm not sure if this is a related problem -- or maybe it's just me -- but does anyone else have a problem with getting logged out "automatically" while on CC? I log in and then after reviewing posts for a while, I get ready to post and find out that I am no longer logged in and have to sign in all over again.

Any suggestions?

It's happened to me several times and the odd thing was each time I tried to repost it truncated the post in a different spot. I finally solved it by retyping the entire post in Word then pasting it in its entirety on CC.

worried mom:

I used to have that problem. I started to click on "Remember Me". Then, in my experience at least, I didn't get logged off automatically anymore.

Yup, me too with the quote thing.

I figured out that it was truncating at a "smart quotation mark" or some funny character in the quotation I was pasting. When I replaced that punctation mark with a standard quote, it worked.

My AOL browser won't permit me to log into CC.

This used to happen to me until I checked the "remember me" box each time, now I can sign on with no problem using AOL.

The problems seem to have been addressed by the administrators.

Problems persist. If I attempt to cut and paste a Word document into a proposed PM, the copy appears on my screen, but when I send it, the recipient gets a blank page.

I've had the same problem as wjb in the last couple days - pasting from Word into a PM looked fine but didn't work.
