Trustee Essay Submission Confirmation

Hi all! I just submitted my Trustee Essay, and was just wondering if an e-mail confirmation of your submission is sent to you. Anyone who submitted it before right now know? Thanks!

I sent mine in and I don’t know if there’s something that’s supposed to pop up saying, “It’s been submitted!”… all I see is a white screen :(

I haven’t gotten anything from BU besides the email from submitting my Common App (which wouldn’t mention the scholarship entry anyway). I have no clue.

Edit: Sending admissions an email, I’ll post the answer I get.

received email that began with

Thank you for applying for the Trustee Scholarship at Boston University. Along with other outstanding students from around the world who have been nominated for this award, you will now be considered for admission to BU and for this scholarship.

Nevermind mine got sent!! It was all because I had a citation… lol

how do you know if it got sent or not??

@Etshine Once it’s sent it will say “Thank you for submitting your essay to BU”, or something like that right after you click “submit”. Then the day after or several days after, you’ll get an email from BU confirming that you’ve sent it and it’s been received.

Received email that they received my essay/application for Trustee scholarship but just checked my account and it says they still need my essay. Anyone else have this issue?

@bigbooklover I didn’t have that issue. I’m not even sure where to see on my account if they’ve received it or not… Well maybe it’s like the CSS profile. It took them about 4 days to put on my account that I submitted it.

Still haven’t gotten any emails regarding anything about my trustee scholarship submission… I’m going to try call them tomorrow

Yeahh that’s probably best!!

Called BU yesterday and they updated my account to say they had my essay

Yay!! Great  @bigbooklover

What are the stats for trustee candidates?
